The Reasons Men Cheat
Other than the being the lustful creature we all are regardless of gender, men (still) cheat more often than women. Why is that so? Some say its in their genes, some people even think it’s normal for men to cheat! Whatever the reason is, it is the women that will be blamed (whether it’s the other woman, or the wife). This is more apparently so in certain societies.
It is a sad thing that wives blame themselves for their husbands’ infidelity. Thoughts of her husbands touching another woman and how they should have done better will race through their heads pounding like a 300 pounds gorilla. Don’t be. Because men are not as complicated as women.They just do, they don’t think. You can be the best wife or girlfriend in the world but that will not guarantee that your husband won’t cheat.
If Opportunity’s Knocking…
Your husband may be tempted to cheat just because there is an opportunity for him to do so. We love to blame the other woman for throwing herself at our husbands, but the truth is, it’s his fault too. You can call it submission to seduction, indiscipline, not thinking straight and so on but there’s no denying that men do think with their prick, not their head. He may just be flattered that he is wanted by another woman.
Especially When He’s With His Bunch Of ‘Friends’….
If men were vehicles, they will be fueled by either ego or alcohol. Combine these two and you get a killer. You know the deal. A few guys got a bit high and drunk. Stupid dares were thrown around.
Well, maybe not in this dramatic fashion but guys generally love to dare their mate to ‘go for it’, making mocking statements like “you’re not afraid of your wife, aren’t you?” or “man, I bet you’re too chicken to buy that cute chick a drink”.
Heck, his friend may even be comparing notes or just boasting about their ‘forbidden’ adventure. It takes a man with a straight head (not easy after a few drinks) and high self-control to see beyond the heat of his friends’ remark. It’s sort of like a throphy to them in a way.
Maybe He’s Just Curious…Or Bored…
This is where the men is likely to throw the ball back to his wife (or at least that’s what he tell the other woman). Maintaining passion in a marriage is both parties’ responsibility. Anyway, once they cheat, they’ll love to use this as an excuse anyway.
